Speech, Occupational, & Physical Therapy
We work with children ages 6 months to 18 years
Southeast Little Learners provides onsite and in-home evaluation and therapy services for children of all ages.
In-home services are available to families throughout Cape Girardeau and Perry Counties.
Onsite Therapy for Enrolled Children
Our onsite speech, occupational, and physical therapy offers families a convenient way to access quality services. We provide direct therapy with push-in services, when appropriate, that allow us to support your child within their "natural" environment. By allowing children to learn and practice skills in the exact place they will be using them, we see progress that translates to lasting success.
Speech, Occupation, & Physical Therapy
Our experienced team of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists provide in-home evaluations and therapy services to families in Cape Girardeau and Perry Counties. Providing services in a child's home allows us to use everyday activities and routines to teach and practice new skills. Parents are invited to participate in our sessions to learn how to continue practice between appointments.

We believe that children are the most important work. After connecting with families who were struggling to find effective therapy solutions and consistent childcare for their children, we were called to find an answer. By breaking down the barriers to caring for a child with special needs and offering therapy services within the preschool day, parents can trust that their child is receiving the loving care and support they need. In our commitment to supporting our community, we have expanded our services to offer in-home therapy so we can reach as many families as possible.
At Southeast Little Learners, therapy is a team effort, and we value parent input and involvement in the process. When parents cannot be present, we will provide session notes, videos, and home activities. Empowering parents and caregivers with strategies to support their children at home ensures children will continue to make progress and develop lifelong skills.
We are accepting new clients! We are also an AAC-approved evaluation site for the state of Missouri, offering evaluations for children with Medicaid who need a speech-generating device. At this time we are in-network with the following insurance companies.
Blue Cross Blue Shield • Cigna • Optum United Healthcare/UMR • Optum UnitedHealthcare Community Plan
Healthy Blue • MoHealthNet
We are constantly adding new insurance companies to the list, so be sure to inquire if you do not see yours! We also offer clients superbills to submit to their insurance for out-of-network reimbursement.
